Master Bedroom and Bath

A few photos of our updated bedroom. I wanted to go away from the cottage mixed pattern look and do more of a streamlined rustic glam look instead. I started out by doing my own “wallpaper” treatment using Con-tact paper ( diy found here). This was super simple and inexpensive! Make sure all your walls are dust free so the paper sticks well. The best thing about this wall treatment is it peels right off! Then I changed out our bedding to all neutral with pops of pink in the pillows ( I change my pillows frequently). When we moved in we installed a floating white shelf above the bed, this is a great idea if your like me and like to change your art work out often. I also use beautiful items around the house or my favourite purse or hat as art work too!

For our bathroom I kept it pretty simple. Some fresh flowers, and a rustic stand next to the tub where I can stash my magazines and water glass and thats about it. My favourite bathrooms are always spa inspired and very relaxing.
